My sweet coworkers wanted to throw me a baby shower, despite the current circumstances that have made it so hard to see each other or celebrate. We of course wanted this to be done as safely as possible to keep everyone healthy. We initially planned for it to be outdoors in a backyard, although it ended up being a 95 degree day so that idea went out the window rather quickly.
We did our best to stay distanced inside, and held our breath for the few group photos that we quickly took. Also what better party favor than hand sanitizer?! That sure sums up a 2020 pregnancy. At least it was the cute, good smelling Bath & Body Works kind.
We had the best time. It was so nice to catch up with the girls that I used to spend 45+ hours every week with. To go from a majority of our time together to none is a huge adjustment and I have missed them all so much!
The girls spoiled the heck out of me and Baby Stoops (a.k.a. Baby Bubbles), and I am so beyond grateful for all of the wonderful goodies I got, but most importantly their friendship and excitement for me during this not-so-great of times to be pregnant.
